Flatwater Foundation

Enabling those affected by cancer to “Live Inspired. Feel Empowered.”

On June 25^th, 185 paddlers made the 21 mile journey from Mansfield Dam to Tom Miller Dam to support the Flatwater Foundation. Flatwater Foundation is dedicated to providing those diagnosed with cancer, their families and loved ones access to mental health therapy and family support. With their network of counselors and therapists, they work to bring families coping with cancer back to calmer waters, so they can focus on navigating cancer, not the mental challenges of their diagnosis.

For the past 5 years, Hewlett Volkswagen has been a proud supporter of the Flatwater Foundation and a major sponsor of Tyler’s Dam That Cancer (DTC). Through sponsorships and donations, the Foundation has been able to provide 19,160 paid therapy sessions.
