Marnee McNeil is an administrator extraordinaire! This vital member of the Hewlett Volkswagen Team is celebrating her 18th anniversary at the dealership. “Marnee does all the behind the scenes work that keeps our paperwork and processes in check. I kid her and tell her she’s the glue that holds this place together. Without Marnee and all her experience with both the dealership and the Volkswagen brand itself, we would be lost. I have always said, it is hard to build a championship team without stability. Marnee is a huge part of our team and stability.” – John Chauvin, Hewlett Volkswagen General Manager
With such an incredible resume and nearly two decades of experience at the dealership we wanted to sit down and ask Marnee about her time at Hewlett Volkswagen.
Q. How has HVW changed over the years?
A. “It’s grown a lot. Over the years, you see people come and go, But the friendships I’ve formed have made my time here so memorable.”
Q. What has been your favorite memory?
A. “I don’t have a favorite memory per se, but I thoroughly enjoy our annual Christmas party. The entire Hewlett Auto Group gets together under one roof and it is a chance to get to know co-workers that you do not see on a regular basis. I look forward to it every year.“
Q. What is your favorite part of your job?
A. “I love that there is trust and respect for my work ethic, which gives me freedom to work at my own pace. I have worked at other dealerships and have seen how they treat people. I feel truly honored to work for the Hewlett’s. Feeling like a valued member of this dealership has made all the difference.”
Q. Has anyone at Hewlett VW been a role model for you?
A. "It is hard to just pick just one person since everyone has been a joy to work with. Each work relationship has deepened my knowledge of the auto industry.”
Q. What are you most grateful for currently?
A. "I have been so grateful and appreciative of how the Hewlett’s continue to create a safe environment for us during COVID. With so much up in the air, we know our safety is a top priority for them.”
CONGRATULATIONS MARNEE ON 18 YEARS OF SERVICE!
